Amayaan has emerged from the combination of the words – “Amaya” & “Ayaan”. Amaya literally means ‘midnight rain’, while Ayaan means ‘rays of the rising sun’. This word has been designed to define the time of the day that is the best time to meditate and workout. This is so, because, the midnight rain settles down the impurities in the air & reduces air pollution and the rising sun’s rays have a positive effect on the body making it a perfect time to work out or meditate. Even the metabolic rate at this time is the fastest, making it easier to burn some extra calories.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared that the state of mental and physical well-being is degrading due to hectic lifestyles, wavering work-life balance, never ending personal quarrels and professional unrests. Due to this, it has become imperative that some form of wellness regime should be included in our daily routine. It should at least be a 30 minutes’ work-out like yoga, gym, aerobics or walk, or some form of meditation like chanting soothing mantras.
