One of the biggest myths we have been hearing is that to love one is selfish and unkind. But the truth is that it is the most loving thing we can do for ourselves is love. We live in a world where people give more value to how you package yourself rather than how you are in reality.

When you don’t value yourself, stop expecting it from others that they will value you. Rightly said, “People love those who love themselves”. Start value yourself. Even if you think you have a lot of negative things inside. Don‘t display your negativity to anyone.

Everyone Is Different, Stop Comparing Yourself with Others

People who don’t have a good sense of their self-worth usually tend to waste their time comparing themselves to others. Everyone has a unique talent in them, instead of focusing on how talented they are and how much competitive advantage they have in them, they waste their time in copying like others or comparing themselves to others.

Whenever you compare yourself to others, you risk losing your identity and minimizing your value.  Be who you are and focus on spending time in developing your skills that naturally lie within your uniqueness. Allow your inherent talent to flourish.


You Are Valuable

Don’t ever believe you can’t be more valuable. Majority of people think that they are of no use when they get failed in their life. It’s never too late to start over. Believe in and start valuing yourself. Remember, failure is the key to success (Rules For Success). Focus on your goals and work hard to accomplish them. People often lose hope and think that everything is finished, but one who starts all over again and succeeds is valued because that person has valued himself.


Stop Worrying That People Will Accept You or Not

We are born in a world where we are taught to seek approvals and do what other people accept from us. Learning to be true to yourself and not being afraid of doing whatever you want to do and expressing your need and desires is a powerful step towards self-love.  Accept who you are, stop worrying about others. If you feel something is important to you, don’t be afraid to ask for it.

Build Relationship with Yourself

If you eat something good, go to your favorite restaurants, order a meal for you, and spend some luxurious time in basking in your pleasant company feel the oneness of who you are with yourself. Speak some positive and uplifting phrases about yourself, like “I accept myself the way I am,” or “I love myself.” Speak these phrases daily, it may sound weird but it will work, and you will start realizing the only acceptance you need is yours.

Trust Your Feelings

Self- worth means that you should learn to listen to your feelings and rely on them. If you trust your feeling, you will recognize yourself and able to respond to them better. Your self-worth grows when you make decisions for yourself. Do not let people take your decisions. When people who take your decisions on your behalf disappear, you will be left alone. You will always feel boxed if people will make decisions for you.  So always trust yourself that whatever decisions you will take will be best for you.


Value, When You Feel Devalued

When you devalue yourself (Feeling of guilt) you limit your potential, your creativity and what can you achieve. You achieve your goal do not disregard any small efforts you are making. It is said that when you fail you learn something from that failure. What counts is that you should not devalue yourself at that time. Value every effort you make to achieve your goal. The easiest way to feel valuable is compassionate and loving. This is the transformative skill which anyone can acquire with practice.
