About the training

Advanced yoga means moving beyond the scope of asana and physical into a more integrated practice. It means living in a world with more alignment and peace, using power versus force both in life and on the mat but it also means acquiring proficient skills in teaching those deeper aspects of yoga according to your student’s needs in a way that is inspiring and effective.

This Yoga Alliance certified program upholds a very high standard and is led by Tanya Popovich. Asana bio-mechanics, alignment, sequencing, and hands-on assists will be explored in great detail, as well as advanced pranayama, yoga philosophy, yoga ethics, and student-teacher relationship.

In addition, students will learn how to sequence long term yoga programs, asana, pranayama, meditation and philosophy workshops, retreats and courses. A 30-hour Yin yoga training is also included in this program.

Directed by Tanya Popovich, ERYT-500 Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga), this teacher training course is a combination of years of experience, expertise, and thousands of hours of training in various systems concentrated into a close mentorship type of training. This advanced yoga teacher training course will give you the skills to become a community leader, inspirational teacher, and a skillful practitioner and professional.
