Detailed Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Vashisht (Manali)
You arrive in Manali by your own means. Open Lotus Yoga will welcome you there and organize your transfer to the family house in Vashisht. You have time to explore your new environment. Afterwards, you will be introduced to your yoga and meditation teacher. One hour Gentle yoga class, Together we will enjoy a freshly made dinner.
Day 2: Gentle yoga and Short trek (easy walk)
Yoga and Pranayama will start from 7 a.m. and end at 8.30 a.m. After a well-deserved breakfast, you can spend your day as you please. After breakfast, you have the option of going on a guided trek to Jogini Falls. These beautiful waterfalls are about an hour along the wall of the valley from Vashisht. These falls descend from high above and run into the Beas River below.
In the evening, we will take a meditation class, then followed by a dinner and night in the family house or preferred hotel.
Day 3: Gentle yoga, meditation, and temple visit
The day starts with yoga at 7 a.m., Pranayama, and asana. After breakfast, visit the village of Goshal, Old Manali, and the beautiful Hadimba Temple. Hadimba temple is about one kilometer from Manali. It is very old and surrounded by the tall cedar pine trees on the edge of Dhungri village. According to legends, Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers fell in love with an aboriginal woman named Hadimba - the sister of the local chief by the name of Hadimba and married her.
In your own time, you can take an auto-rickshaw back to Vashisht. After dinner, we will take a meditation class. Spend the night in the family house or preferred hotel.
Day 4 and 5: Gentle yoga, meditation, and exploring village life
The day will start with yoga at 7 a.m., Pranayama, and asana practice. After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit several villages. We will walk up along the valley to three distinct villages that dot along the Beas River. We will visit the village of Burwa, Shanag, and Goshal, then stop for tea at a local family house. After dinner, we will take a meditation class. Night in family house or hotel.
Day 6: Yoga, meditation, and free day
Yoga will start at 7:30 a.m. Today will be a relaxing day.
Day 7: Yoga, meditation, explore Vashisht, and checkout (evening)
Yoga will start at 7:30 a.m. Today is a free day, where you can do your shopping and explore the local rooftops. Around the temple, there is always something to experience. Ask the guide to take you one more time for a walk. Vashisht has many gardens and beautiful paths to admire. There are also options for cannoning, massage, and etc.

Your meals will be cooked by Ritu and Padma, who are women in the family. They will provide you with homemade vegetarian and yogic food. The mostly cook Indian food, without or with less spice, less oil, and with fresh green vegetables. The fresh milk and curd from their own cow.

Meet The Instructors
Born and raised in Vashist, Chhape knows the locals and the environment like the back of his hand. He built up a wide expertise as a guide, covering the whole country of India. During this time, he adopted his ability to create a perfect trip based on the personal preferences of the travelers he accompanied. His sense of humor is widely acknowledged and he loves to make use of his organizational skills. He has also been practicing yoga since 2007. He is a Hatha yoga teacher, teaches pranayama (breathing techniques), gentle yoga asana, and is a practicing Thai yoga massage.
