Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®). Registration with Yoga Alliance provides a globally recognized credential.
This teacher training includes daily Ashtanga and Vinyasa practices, breathing exercises, pranayama, yoga Nidra, lectures on the basic principles of Sattvic food, the art of adjustment, meditations, introduction to Kriyas, ancient yoga text studies, Indian philosophy, anatomy, yoga therapy, and teaching ethics.
The 260 hours of training (divided in practical and theory parts) will give you the detailed knowledge and practical experience which is essential both for deepening your personal practice and building a strong foundation for your teaching activity.
After completing the training, you will receive the teaching certificate, confirming your qualification as a yoga teacher. Also, after completion of the course every student gets basic anatomy course attendance certificate. It does not certify you to do any medical activity, but it confirms the course attendance and shows that you have a basic knowledge of the human body structure, its functions, the locomotor system, etc. More detailed knowledge can be obtained in the yoga therapy classes.

For TTC course we make an emphasis for the practical part. By the end of the course the students must know all posture foundation / modifications and different ways of adjustment for the same postures for different body types / level of practice for the Primary Series. Also the students will be trained in teaching and get the real teaching experience for Mysore style class and Led class. When the course is finished our students must perform safe adjustment and knowledge of the sequence in a way of “one breath one movement”.

TAYSP accommodates their guests in a fully equipped house with a comfortable single or double occupancy rooms at Land and House Park close to the Yoga Shala. It's a big private and quiet area in a serene lush tropical setting near the lake.
For the convenience of the guests we provide bicycles to move around the park. The allocation of the houses depends on availability on the moment of booking.

This retreat will take place in Phuket, on Phuket Island, Thailand.

During the course healthy vegetarian food is provided. To experience the good effects of the yogic lifestyle, please do not bring meat from outside to eat. In a case if student has any allergy or intolerance to any kinds of food please inform us so the diet will be adjusted accordingly.

Meet The Instructors
Sofya & Rich
Sofya is studying under the guidance of R. Sharat Jois at Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Institute in Mysore, India - the place where Ashtanga yoga as a set or asana and pranayama practices was systematized and kept preserved. There in Mysore she was also studying Ayurveda, Sanskrit and ancient yogic texts. She was also trained and certified as Asana and Pranayama teacher at Tattvaa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. As a Yoga teacher Sofya is also registered with Yoga Alliance International. She is known for her warm and light way of teaching yoga, which creates a special atmosphere in her classes.
His passion to personal development brought him to meet and learn from different teachers in Europe, India, Russia, Kazakhstan and Thailand, over the years he has been exploring asana and pranayama practice, kriyas, meditation, ayurveda, reiki, su djok, cold water treatment and art of cooking health food. Rich is famous with warm and personal approach to the teaching of yoga. He is talented with a special natural vision of students needs which allows him to guide them in their practice in a right direction to achieve the best result on their path of yoga.

You will be flying into Phuket International Airport (HKT).
Phuket International Airport (HKT) - 1 hour
Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Shala Phuket is located in Land & House Park at Clubhouse building. Following Chaofa road just turn right before Wat Tai (Temple) and go toward security check post at the entrance of Land & House Park. Sign your name at the security post and drive straight towards Clubhouse.
Booking And Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
- The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 30 days before the arrival date.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
