Twice a day and seven days a week, KIMASurf offers exclusive guided surf tours for all surf levels to all surf spots around Bali. Guest ratio never exceeds 1:3 (one surf guide for a maximum of 3 guests) and if you happen to be the only guest at a certain level then you will have the pleasure of private surf guiding.
When it comes to surf guiding, KIMASurf at the luxury surf resort on Bali focus on your special wishes and preferences. That means, they always discuss the surf plan for the next days with you on an individual basis. In choosing the surf spots we take your skill level, swell and wind condition into consideration.
Suited to your abilities
Sign up for the surf sessions that suit you and your abilities in our surf plan the evening before. Their surf guides are happy to help you make the selection. For total beginners, KIMASurf recommends booking their 3-day surf school package.
Theory lessons and video analysis
Some of the surf sessions are filmed and analyzed afterward, six times a week. You can also join the theory lessons that KIMASurf offers six times a week. Both options are included in your package.
Don’t worry about bringing your own board, we have it covered. We provide shortboards (5'8'' - 7'0''), fun shapes and mini-malibus (7'0'' - 7'8'') as well as longboards (9'0'') available for every level and all conditions. Leashes and Lycra are included in the rental price. Any repairs or loss of equipment will need to be paid for.
Insure your surfboard
Be on the safe side and insure your rental board. We will carry the costs for any repairs over a period of one to three weeks, whether it’s a tiny dent or a major break. Any damage will be repaired professionally. If the board or parts of it get lost - even if it is in the water - the costs have to be paid by the user.
For intermediate surfers, Bali has a whole series of soft reef breaks and semi-beach breaks. There are many perfect waves nearby or famous spots a bit further away that will push your skills and hopefully make you an advanced surfer by the end of your stay.
Of course, advanced surfers also get their money’s worth in Bali. The best waves all around Bali are on our schedule: the legendary airport breaks, the classic Bali waves such as Dreamland and Balangan or the world-famous spots like Padang-Padang, Keramas, or Uluwatu.

KIMASurf talks about the west and east coast when choosing the perfect Bali surf spots for you. The west coast is offering perfect waves in the dry season, which is typically from April to November and from Canggu camp, which is located in the western part of Bali, you can access home break "Old Man" within a few walking minutes.
You should take the time to visit the famous surf spot Uluwatu, which is located at the Peninsula Bukit, the southern part of beautiful Bali. "Ulus" is offering the perfect left and when the largest swell hits Bali, it turns into big-wave surfing. Padang and Green Bowl camps offer quick access to all the spots in the Bukit: Padang Padang, Dreamland, Bingin to name just a few.
Perfect waves are available almost every day in Bali, but the east coast offers better conditions in the so-called wet season from December to March. Grab your board and let the guides bring you to stunning spots as Mushroom, Green Bowl, or Sanur Reef.
