Neo Yoga Centers 200-hour yoga certification schedule is strictly based on yogic principles, training starts with a morning practice at early sunrise. It is the best time of the day to experience the power of asana, pranayama and sadhna/meditation. There is a short break for breakfast and healthy food is served for you to get well-nourished for rest of the day. The schedule follows with a lecture and some yoga practice. Lunch is served during the mid-day time with yogic and Ayurveda foods.

There is a meditation/chanting class in the afternoon. A dinner and thereof rest and relax for the next morning. Although they abide by the traditional style of teaching yoga, we still have incorporated Sivananda, Pattabi Jois, and BKS. Iyengar style into their teachings. They are highly influenced by BKS Iyengar, so props are included in their asana practices to ensure correct alignment and posture.

Except for asana perfection using the props, their accent is on the focus of mind and regulation of breath. Every asana is utilized as tools so as to guide you gain your usual meditative state. It will help focus your mind in more evocative ways which can deepen your practices. If your goal is to be a yoga instructor, you'll become very sure with sequencing, guiding principles of breath movement and focusing and complete knowledge of eight limbs of yoga as offered by Maharishi Patanjali through the philosophical class and different kinds of the meditative session.

Neo Yoga Center considers the practices of Ayurvedic living to be very important and so they must be combined together with yoga to accolade the advantages of yoga. You as a yoga teacher

As the name suggests yoga teacher training, the initial goal of this course in to develop you as a perfect and learned yoga teacher who can then develop and spread yoga to the world. The personal work of yoga practice is the best way to prepare to teach yoga classes, but we will also look more deeply into methods of teaching. During the course we will practice aspects of yoga teaching on each other, which will include planning and teaching classes and sequences, using props and aids and helping students to modify poses so that they can get the most out of the practices.

From the yoga center it takes 5 minutes only to reach the beach. The Arambol beach is among the stunning beaches in Goa. The beach is filled with spiritual seekers finding ways by practicing yogasana, tai chi, meditation, music, chi kong, dance, aerobics, martial arts, etc. There are many taxis that run 24/7 all throughout Goa railway stations and airport.

Harmal or Arambol is the biggest coastal village in Goas Pernem district. Situated at nearly 32 kilometers northwest from Mapusa and around 50 kilometers from the Panjim, village comprises of conventional fishing community and also has a perfect and cool holiday atmosphere. Arambol has two beaches also one among which is the extremely popular Arambol beach or Harmal beach and other is a picturesque and quiet beach which can be reached on foot only as that lies beyond rocky headband which bordered by sheer cliffs on both the sides. However, both of these are considered as charming beaches in India and they are ideal for the ones looking out for tranquility and peace.

Akhilesh Bodhi

Akhilesh met Swami Dayananda Saraswati, the scholar of Sanskrit and Vedanta. He had school in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Akhilesh completed a three-year course of Vedanta philosophy and started teaching. Along with that, he also completed yoga training at Siyanda Ashram in Kerala and he studied at Vivekananda Kendra Bangalore. Then, he started learning Iyengar yoga at Iyengar Institute in Pune. He then opened his school called Neo Yoga Center in Dharamsala and has been teaching regularly there since 1999.

Aacharya Sudama

Aacharaya started his spiritual life at the age of 12, had studied Sanskrit grammar, Vedic philosophies, Bhagavadgita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Ramayanam, music, yoga as well as the contemporary teachings of other regional saints from various well-known teachers and schools. His Yoga Guru Swami Vijñānananda Sarasvati (The direct disciple of Swami Yogeśvarananda Sarasvati - the founder father of Yoga Niketan Trust) awarded him with a title of “HATHA YOGACHARYA”, the master of Hatha yoga, with the certificate of the tradition.

Yogi Umesh is a professional yoga instructor and fitness therapist and has experience of more than 10 years. He worked with Ananda Yoga studio Moscow (Russia) as a full-time yoga instructor handling group classes and personal classes on Hatha yoga and Ashtanga yoga. He received training in Thai massage and Swedish massage while working with Ananda in the Himalayas and attended therapies workshop at Hotel Ananda in the Himalayas.
