This is a 24-day comprehensive dual certification program to explore all facets of traditional Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga. A complete yoga practice that is designed to discover your true self, open your heart, and embody the teacher within. The goal is to help you realize your maximum potential and see you in becoming a leader to bring positive changes in the lives of those around you. Program

Pre-Training Recommendations

To prepare for this training, Annie Au Yoga highly recommend taking regular yoga classes in Vinyasa flow or power-based yoga styles three to four times per week. The training is physically demanding and priming your body prior to arrival would enhance your experience tremendously.

Upon registration, they will be sending you a list of recommended books. These books include topics on yoga philosophy, anatomy, and soulful reflections.

This 24 day intensive level 1 yoga teacher training is designed to elevate your teaching skill, deepen your personal yoga practice, and develop confidence to teach group/private classes.

The training is grounded in the fluid, rhythmic Vinyasa flow with an emphasis on linking internal awareness with external body movement. As well, they respect the way of traditional Hatha yoga and its powerful healing practices of kriyas (cleansing techniques), asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing extension), dhyana (concentration), and dharana (meditation).

This training also includes a 50-Hour Yin yoga and meridians teaching certification. Dive into the deep nourishing Yin practice. Learn the fundamentals of Yin yoga practice, how it can break free our emotional obstacles and create balance in our body, mind and spirit.

While respecting the yogic traditions, they also combine functional training methods to help you progress faster in your yoga practice and to minimize injuries. They will examine the importance of nutrition in a non-dogmatic framework with an emphasis on self-nourishment and non-violence.

This is a sample of your daily schedule and is subject to change. Being flexible with the schedule allows the trainers to adjust according to the students’ needs.

There will be one day off per week. Annie Au Yoga will organize sightseeing tours to Ubud, temples, and beaches. Tours are optional but will offer you a chance to explore Bali while you’re completing your yoga teaching certification!

Annie Au

Annie leads teacher training in Sri Lanka, Mexico, Thailand, and Bali and has certified over 250 students worldwide. Annie holds a bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Specializing in yoga anatomy, she infuses anatomy knowledge in her yoga classes to help students practice more intelligently and avoid injuries. Annie has the ability to lead a dynamic class filled with inversions with a duality of restorative and healing sequences.
