Neo Yoga Centers 200-hour yoga certification schedule is strictly based on yogic principles, training starts with a morning practice at early sunrise. It is the best time of the day to experience the power of asana, pranayama and sadhna/meditation. There is a short break for breakfast and healthy food is served for you to get well-nourished for rest of the day. The schedule follows with a lecture and some yoga practice. Lunch is served during the mid-day time with yogic and Ayurveda foods. There is a meditation/chanting class in the afternoon. A dinner and thereof rest and relax for the next morning.
Although they abide by the traditional style of teaching yoga, we still have incorporated Sivananda, Pattabi Jois and BKS. Iyengar style into their teachings. They are highly influenced by BKS Iyengar, so props are included in their asana practices to ensure correct alignment and posture. Except for asana perfection using the props, their accent is on the focus of mind and regulation of breath. Every asana is utilized as tools so as to guide you gain your usual meditative state. It will help focus your mind in more evocative ways which can deepen your practices. If your goal is to be a yoga instructor, you'll become very sure with sequencing, guiding principles of breath movement and focusing and complete knowledge of eight limbs of yoga as offered by Maharishi Patanjali through the philosophical class and different kinds of the meditative session.

You as a yoga teacher
As the name suggests yoga teacher training, the initial goal of this course in to develop you as a perfect and learned yoga teacher who can then develop and spread yoga to the world. The personal work of yoga practice is the best way to prepare to teach yoga classes, but we will also look more deeply into methods of teaching. During the course we will practice aspects of yoga teaching on each other, which will include planning and teaching classes and sequences, using props and aids and helping students to modify poses so that they can get the most out of the practices. Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded a certificate eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance.

Around 4 kilometers north of Dharamsala town - or 10 kilometers via the looping bus route - McLeod Ganj is the residence of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and the site of the Tibetan exile community's main temple. Meet The Instructors
Akhilesh met Swami Dayananda Saraswati, the scholar of Sanskrit and Vedanta. He had school in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Akhilesh completed a three-year course of Vedanta philosophy and started teaching. Along with that, he also completed yoga training at Siyanda Ashram in Kerala and he studied at Vivekananda Kendra Bangalore. Then, he started learning Iyengar yoga at Iyengar Institute in Pune. He then opened his school called Neo Yoga Center in Dharamsala and has been teaching regularly there since 1999.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Gaggal Airport (DHM). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Sarvaguna Yoga will pick you up from the airport. The best way for travelers to reach Dharamsala by air is to travel from New Delhi Airport (DEL). New Delhi Airport is connected to all most all major destinations and all major cities in India.
Daily flights are operated from New Delhi to Gaggal Airport, which is about 25 kilometers away from the yoga center. Alternatively, you can take a flight to Chandigarh (250 kilometers from the yoga center) or Amritsar (200 kilometers away from the center), and then take a pre-paid taxi to McLeod Ganj. It takes four to five hours to reach there. A taxi ride will cost about 4,000 INR. If you choose to arrive at Amritsar International Airport, you can reach Dharamsala by taxi, which is a better option.
Arrival by bus
There are daily bus services from Delhi to Dharamsala every evening. It is a 10 to 12-hour journey with a fare of 300 to 1,300 INR depending upon the type of bus you choose to travel. Public buses are available from New Delhi and from other major cities. This option is the most economical. Bus services are also available from Manali and Shimla. Sarvaguna Yoga can provide you more information on how to travel to Dharamsala if you need.
Arrival by train
There are no direct train to reach Dharamsala. Pathankot is the nearest railway station to a reach Dharamsala. Pathankot Railway Station is well connected by rail with all other major cities in India. The distance from Pathankot to the center is about 100 kilometers and it costs around 1,500 INR to reach the center by taxi.
