This retreat is designed to make you come fully alive again and experience yourself with a great feeling of fresh vitality and clarity of mind. As preparation for Kundalini awakening requires your body to be strong and your mind peaceful. They use a range of different secret practices for clearing all Nadis and aligning all major and minor chakras. When the body and mind are ready for picking up shakti it will come alive by itself and with Swami Dayanand will help to transmit as much one is capable of holding.

Kundalini yoga uses sound and mantra practices, focused breathwork, and asana posture to free the Kundalini energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine. With the cultivation of this energy, awareness, and vitality are awakened and the practitioner may experience heightened states or a “Kundalini awakening”, or the ecstatic and intense free flow of energy up through all seven chakras. This practice is known for being physically quite intense but grounded in a deep sense of spiritual purpose and intention.

What is Kundalini awakening and what happens when your Kundalini is awakened

The awakening of Kundalini means the awakening of your consciousness to your highest-self, to raise the subtle body when the subtle body is raised. You will achieve the qualities of god-like, you can see without eyes, hear without ears, speak without a tongue, work without hands, and walk without legs. To obtain this awakening, you have to train your body by cleaning it through the yogic way, such as doing Kunjal, Neti, and Sankhaprakshalana to raise consciousness.

You will be practicing asana, pranayama, and yoga Nidra, these are the things that students will have to do in the practice before joining. They have to practice yamas, which means don't think bad or do bad neither with your mind words or deeds. Next is to have a life routine and to do all your daily work in a routine. For instance, if you wake up at 8 a.m. every day, you need to get up the same time, eat at the same time, and sleep at the same time. For every work that you do, you need to have a routine.

Warning: Subtle body awakening in-process

Subtle body awakening is related to the practice of Yoga Nidra, there will different types of yoga Nidra that is related to physic astral trips. In this way, the subtle body gets aroused, warning for this is it should be done in a very quiet place where there is no one to disturb you.

What is involved in the practice

The participants have to do all the Kriyas, meaning all the cleanings of their body which is necessary for their subtle body and awakening of the Kundalini. One Kriya is called Kunjal, the participants will have to drink two bottles (two liters) of water in one go and then puke it out. It is very good and healthy for many problems.

Another cleaning practice is neti, the participant will be given water with a neti pot. They have to put it in their nose and clean their nasal area. This is good for sinus problems and it increases the sensitivity of the nose.

As for shankaprakshalana, this cleansing method requires participants to drink lukewarm water with a little salt and do yoga movements. All the water will come out from the back and your whole body will become neat and clean internally. It is also very healthy and it removes many problems of the past, prevent many illnesses, and increases flexibility. It is good for all asana meditation yoga Nidra and pranayama. Without all these, no yoga is complete.

Pranayama

Pranayamas (of ma types) are used to keep your mind and body in balance. It is the main source of energy to our existence; it should be practiced very carefully and should have proper guidance or the results can be very severe.

Satsang

Satsang and mindfulness are for students who have the curiosity to know about the yoga they are doing and how to achieve what they really desire through the course. In this training, Arunachala Yoga Centre will give an after explanation for half an hour. Chanting with this, you will immediately realize the mindfulness and feel the peace within you.

Daily yoga retreat schedule

All the cottages are fully furnished and attached with western style toilets, showers, and washbasins. The large double beds have comfortable mattresses, pillows, blankets, and mosquito nets ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. All rooms have electric fans, as the hosts think the fans are best for your cottages, as they let the natural air circulate. It’s also kinder to the environment as fans use less power than air conditioning.

Also available is a secure locker and an in-house laundry service. Hot water is provided on request. New towels and bedsheets will be changed according to your wishes.

Retreat location

The retreat will be held in Palolem Beach, Goa, India. Palolem Beach is largely unspoiled and is inhabited by both local fishermen and by foreign tourists who live in shacks along the shore or in the main village. The location offers an ideal place to explore the stunning beaches, beautiful local villages, and surrounding nature outside of your retreat schedule.

Swami Dayanand

Swami Dayanand is a sadhu who received an education from the Aghoris and is affiliated to the Kina Ram Ashram in Varanasi. His yearly journey takes him from the sacred city of Varanasi to the holly lake of Pushkar, then to the marvelous shores of Palolem, West-Goa, as well as to the Himalayas, in Dharamsala and Pokara, Nepal. He is an immensely powerful Reiki master as well as a yoga instructor and teaches yoga for all levels as well as gives yoga instructor classes. He went to Kailasha Ashram in Rishikesh to learn Vedanta & studied there for a few years and then went in an Ashram branch of Kail
